This event is designed for primary and secondary survivors of sexual violence to explore various activities for healing and coping. Check out the schedule below so that you can pick sessions that fit in your day. Registration preferred, drop-ins welcome. Registration is now open. 9:00AM – CHECK-IN OPENS AND WELCOME BREAKFAST BEGINS
Check-in at the North Ballroom to receive a program and create your own radical self-love kit. Check-in will be available all day. Breakfast available until 10:45.
9:30-10:45AM – THERAPY DOGS
Take a break with some therapy dogs. Breakfast available until the end of this session.
11:00 – 12:15PM – INTIMACY AFTER TRAUMA
This session discusses the impact that trauma can have on the body and how that may play into intimate relationships.
12:30-1:45PM – LUNCH AND OPEN EXPLORATION
Enjoy a free lunch and explore various activities for coping and healing including creating essential oil blends, planting succulents, massages, and more!
2:00-3:15PM – COMMUNITY COPING
This block is intended for survivors to take part in identity-specific healing. Join the offices from the Student Diversity Programs & Services for community-specific activities. Check-in at the North Ballroom for more information about what each office is hosting.
