What We Do

ADVOCACY

Through advocacy we provide confidential crisis intervention and emotional support. We provide information about academic, legal, medical, emotional, and student conduct resources to survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking. We also offer support to secondary survivors, such as intimate partners, friends, family, and you. Visit our About Advocacy page for more information.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING

To fulfill our mission, the WGAC offers a variety of programming throughout the year. This programming ranges from large scale events to awareness months to workshops and facilitations. Much of these programs center around interpersonal violence and survivor voice. However, we also engage through other topics of gender and social justice. Explore the Education and Events menus for more information.

COMMUNITY SPACE

With two on-campus locations ( 112 Student Services and 234 Lory Student Center) there is plenty space to take a break, hangout, and study. Our LSC location  features a conference table, our resource library, and access to a break room stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, and pocket food pantry.
